My Name
“STEPHEN”
So I asked my parents why they chose my name but the conversation was really short. So I didn’t gather a lot of information. Also on the Internet there was only two lines on my name which wasn’t that good.
On the Internet said Stephen means “Crowned one.” I feel crowned in my family, because my parents get me what I want and sometimes-good surprises as well. So my brother sometimes get what he wants but they sometimes don’t give him surprises. Like when we got our first game boys I lost mine after a while and my parents got me a PSP for my birthday and my brother got jealous and played on mine a lot and hogged it from me. I begged for my IPod and that Christmas they got it for me. My brother did the same thing whenever I wasn’t on it he had it and he was listening to my music or playing my games. Then after a while it got misplaced in my house so I asked for an I touch and this time my brother asked so we both got one, but I still feel like the crowned one since when my brother and I fight its always my brother who gets in trouble
The information I received from my mum wasn’t very useful either. I got my name from my grandfather, his name was Robert and he didn’t like that name so he decided to be called by his middle name, Stephen. Then when I came a long my parents liked the name Stephen so they researched it and yes it was a name of a saint, since we are catholic. Also saint Stephen was the first martyr meaning he was killed for religious beliefs.
So that’s how I got my name “STEPHEN” and I like it just how it is beside the point that everybody every once in a while calls me Stephanie which I don’t like.
